The linux OS
Linux is an operating system which is freely available, a condition that extends to the source code. It has many advantages over some of its commercial rivals and is this author's OS of choice.
Some features are, however, a little on the arcane side. These documents are the result of the author's more successful attempts to get tricky features working.
It should be noted that this section is now somewhat out of date. Hopefully there will be an update before too much longer.
