Contact information for David Dorward

There are a number of ways that I can be contacted.

Please don't contact me about…

In the past I have received emails from strangers wanting help with websites, linux and other things. Running a website that talks about these topics qualifies me as 'someone to ask for help' in some people's eyes. If you want help with something I'm already involved in (such as problems with code examples on this site) then feel free to get in touch, but please don't approach me with other problems.

I am currently in full time employment and am not presently accepting contacts for one off jobs. There are, however, technology experts who do as well as mailing lists that might be able to help.

Email

My email address is david@dorward.me.uk

Twitter

My Twitter identity is dorward.

FOAF

Friend of a Friend is an XML format that describes relationships between a person, other people and projects. My data is a little out of date, I plan to give it a good cleaning in early 2008, but you can access my FOAF details or see pretty formatted FOAF. FOAFer provides a different pretty format. Foaf-a-matic and these Foaf Examples can help you get quick start if you wish to create your own FOAF file.

Instant Messaging

I use a number of Instant Messaging networks, but automatically block messages from people who are not on my contact list. If I'm unlikely to recognise your identity on IM, then you should probably use a different communications channel to get in touch.
