My name is David Dorward, a web developer working in central London for MyDeco.
Previously, I was employeed as lead front end developer at Playfire, before economic conditions saw the role reduced.
Until mid-2008 I was employeed at Yahoo where I worked on the cars section of the website (don't blame me for the cruft though, it was inherited and I left it in a better state then I found it).
Until April 2007, I worked at Sophos where I dealt mostly with the the server side Perl that powered the website. Before I started there I was the sole technical person at (the now defunct) Fish-ic where I was busy with both front and backend of the website and maintaining the internal systems).
I was educated at Cranfield University where I received a degree in Software Engineering.
When I'm not working with computers, I enjoy reading, theatre going, cinema, photography and … I'm going to stop boring you with this and suggest you explore the rest of this site where there is material much more interesting then the details of my personal life.
